Riva Kamat-Nerikar, MD

Since May 2004, Dr. Kamat has practiced with Fairfax Hospital for Children as a pediatric hospitalist. She has also worked with Kaiser Permanente as a clinician and as a pediatric call center advisor. She has taught an on-going skills class to physicians on how to communicate with patients effectively, and she serves on the Children’s Advisory Committee for Fairfax Hospital for Children. Currently she is the president of the Northern Virginia Pediatric Society and enjoys planning educational lectures with internationally known speakers.
