Monica Wassell has over 25 years experience in healthcare administration, product management and quality assessment. As product manager of an integrated decision support product, she managed the entire product life cycle and coordinated a multi-disciplinary team through conceptualization, development, testing, documentation and client training. She also managed beta sight implementation of the product. Previously she served as a senior accreditation manager for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), where she managed and performed accreditation surveys for national and local managed care organizations. Her areas of expertise include credentialing and quality assurance, healthcare policy, and outcomes measurement. Ms. Wassell is an RN with a degree from Evanston Hospital School of Nursing. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in public policy from Duke University.
