Between growing numbers of hospice agencies, the corresponding exponential growth in the number of new hospice staff members, new state regulations, and evolving federal conditions, hospice care is clearly experiencing changing currents. The 2007 Virginia Association for Hospices annual conference will offer information to help Hospice workers manage this change while maintaining quality care.

This session, designed for nursing management professionals, will explore a toolkit that B•MHE developed with Blue Ridge Hospice to help them dramatically improve processes for referencing compliance information and monitoring the status of compliance activities with several state and federal agencies.
This workshop will be presented by Sharon Martin and Savannah Winston from B•MHE and Pat Bishop, RN CNO, and Lynn Gray, RN, Director of Clinical Services from Blue Ridge Hospice.
